Hire terms.
The conditions that apply to every BOSH Bins hire. Please read before booking.
Payment & hire period
Payment for bin hire is required prior to, or on delivery of the bin. The standard hire period is 14 days (2 weeks) unless otherwise prearranged.
Cancellations
A $50 cancellation fee applies to orders cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery.
Restricted waste — must not be placed in the bin
- Asbestos — if found, a processing fee of $1,500 applies
- Tyres
- Car batteries
- Liquids, paint and oils
- Hazardous waste
- Tree trunks larger than 25cm
- In skip bins 6m³ and above: no sand, soil or dirt
Mattresses are accepted but attract an additional charge of $100 each and must be declared at booking.
Weight limits & contamination
Mixed general waste includes 150kg/m³. Green waste is limited to 500kg/m³. Concrete and masonry bins are capped at 6m³ and soil at 4m³ due to weight; larger loads can be split across bins by arrangement — call us to book. Contamination fees apply: $200 for concrete and soil bins, $150 for green waste bins.
Bins must not be filled above the fill line.
Placement & permits
Placement of the bin is at the driver's discretion, due to our public liability requirements. Permits to place a bin on a roadway are to be sourced by the customer. The bin must not be moved from the delivered position.
General
No fires are to be lit in the bins. The hirer is responsible for the bin once it has been delivered, and agrees to make the bin available for collection on the agreed collection date. All due care will be taken, but no responsibility is accepted once the truck is on the hirer's property.
